About the event
Get ready to level up your travel confidence with hands-on self-defence training designed specifically for BIPOC solo female travelers. Sunday, May 31 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Join us for an energizing outdoor session led by Tamara D'Silva from Keiko Martial Arts in collaboration with Ninoshka Travels. In this session, you'll learn situational awareness strategies, striking techniques, pressure points, escape methods, and de-escalation tactics that are actually effective in real-world travel scenarios. This is an active, encouraging environment where you'll practice different situations to boost your solo travel confidence. Bring your athletic wear and get ready to make new friends (attending solo is encouraged).
Event Details: Please wear comfortable clothing, sportswear or anything you can move in and dress for the weather, as we will be outside. Stay hydrated and bring a water bottle! Please use the location pin for our exact meeting point. If you have any issues, please…
