4 Reasons to Campervan Australia
Imagine picturesque views of the ocean while sipping your coffee in the morning and surfing the crystal blue Australian waters. Campervanning can be an amazing way to experience Australia!
Still not convinced? Here are some more reasons why you should do it:
Find hidden gems along your travels
The best thing about the campervan lifestyle is that you can find empty beaches and capture beautiful wildlife moments on the road. You wouldn't be able to find these if you were backpacking from hostel to hostel. You have the freedom to stop anywhere you'd like on your drives and explore places you won't find with a Google search.
Learn how to take care of your own motor home
Taking care of your own motor home is an amazing experience. It's basically a tiny home on wheels. There's maintenance to do every day like filling the water tank, ensuring the van is clean and everything is stored away correctly for the day. There are things on your trip to think about like packing minimally and finding public bathrooms on the road. We did use the ocean for baths sometimes but that's all part of the fun! Having a motor home is a great learning experience and showed me a different way to travel. It taught me to live more sustainably and was surprised at how many every day items I can actually live without.
Renting a campervan is one of the most cost effective ways you can travel Australia. You'll be glad you saved money by cooking in your van and more time exploring every nook of Australia for less. We rented our campervan with Apollo, that gave us the freedom to pick up the van in one location and drop it off in another. They also took care of the cleaning and gave us everything we would need for our trip.
I still remember the amazing memories I made with the friends I went on this trip with. The late night card games we played, the pranks we pulled on each other and how we quietly watched the sunsets on the beach together. We shared moments that we will remember for the rest of our lives. And that, is the best argument I have to convince you to campervan Australia.
